As of 1st September, 2008, I am a lecturer in the Psychology of Education at the Graduate School of Education, University of Bristol
Research
My main interest is the role of context in the development and transfer of concepts. I am currently approaching this issue from two directions - looking at the ways in which new concepts are developed in the classroom, and looking at the ways in which context can be incorporated into learning events with the use of mobile and pervasive systems.
Teaching
I am teaching parts of the MEd. Psychology of Education, including units in Statistics, "Introduction to Educational Enquiry" and "Cognition and Learning".
